New Zealand: Amisfield winery

Amisfield winery is one of the more famous winery’s in Central Otago and for good reason. We headed there for a trust the chef lunch menu and my oh my, I could get used to dining like that more. The five course lunch set us back $95 per person with an additional $70 for the wine match. I would recommend doing the wine match as you do get your moneys worth to say the least. Was delicious too, with a range of wines so no matter what type of wine is your preferred it will be something for everyone.

Being one for eating and drinking far beyond my means, I don’t do it often but when I do I like to enjoy every minute. So here is my course by course breakdown of Amisfields, award winning trust the chef menu. Here are the meals and images that accompany them so that you can see how adventurous we were and trust me it was all delicious.
